We're seeking your support to extend our existing out of hours work agreement for the Jervis Bay Road intersection upgrade.

Working outside of standard construction hours when required will allow the team to carry out particular activities more efficiently and safely, reducing the overall length of construction and disruptions to nearby residents.

The project team are seeking to, when required, extend the current out of hours shifts to up to 5 nights a week and from Sunday night to Thursday night. We're seeking to extend our existing out of hours work agreement until project completion, expected to be 2027.

Proposed extended out of hours work:

  • Up to five (5) consecutive nights a week and up to 20 nights per month.
  • Changing our night shifts to work Sunday through to Thursday night (with no work on Friday and Saturday night).

Extended hours may be required for concrete pours, earthworks, installing drainage, laying asphalt and pavements, finishing works and related activities that would be otherwise difficult to carry out due to safety, traffic, weather, utility and quality reasons.

Before starting any new out of hours work activities, impacted residents will be notified in advance and offered alternative accommodation.
