What’s happening?

The State Significant Development Application was lodged with the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) in October 2025 and was on public exhibition in November 2025.

Following the exhibition period, Homes NSW will prepare a response to submissions report, which will be publicly available on the DPHI website. Visit the DPHI project webpage for more information.

This redevelopment includes the construction of a new residential flat building delivering 145 high-quality social and affordable homes, a communal room for residents, basement car parking and landscaping across the site.

Homes NSW is currently selecting a community housing provider to act as the future delivery partner and property manager for this development.

Next steps

  1. Demolition of existing buildings on site is expected to start in early 2026.
  2. Construction is due to commence in mid-2026 and be completed in 2028.
