More quality social homes in Coffs Harbour

Homes NSW are delivering a new four-storey residential flat building with 60 high-quality social homes.

The new homes will include:

• communal room for residents of the new development
• basement car parking and internal lifts
• landscaping and fencing across the site. 

Current status and next steps

The State Significant Development Application (SSDA) was lodged with the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) in October 2025 and was on public exhibition from 2 October to 15 October 2025.

Homes NSW prepared a response to submissions report, which is publicly available on the DPHI website. Visit the NSW DPHI project webpage for more information. The project was approved on 10 April 2026.

Homes NSW has partnered with Mission Australia Housing as the Community Housing Provider. Mission Australia Housing will manage construction of the new homes and manage tenant and maintenance services after construction is complete.

1. Construction is due to commence in early 2027 and be completed in 2029.
