Tropical Cyclone Alfred recovery updates

Get the latest information on recovery support in areas that have been impacted by floods and storms caused by Cyclone Alfred.

If you've been impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred, there is immediate support available. Information about Recovery Assistance Points, closed roads, temporary accommodation, wellbeing support and clean-up help will be updated on our recovery map.

Returning home after severe weather may be delayed if the area is unsafe. Keep up to date on the latest warnings from NSW SES and any road closures via Live Traffic NSW.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is here to help with support and advice when you have been impacted by a disaster or an emergency event:

  • call 13 77 88
  • for free help in your language, call Translating and Interpreting Services on 13 14 50 and ask them to contact 13 77 88.

Mobile recovery outreach will be undertaken by the Reconstruction Authority on specific dates and locations. Note: this information is subject to change as we respond to the community need for additional locations.

Recovery Assistance Points (RAPs)

RAPs are open at locations listed below, which will include the Reconstruction Authority and partner organisations. These central locations were selected to ensure easy access for residents.

  • Tuesday 25 March from 12pm to 7pm
  • Wednesday 26 March from 9am to 3pm
