Empower – It’s time for young people in NSW to have their voices heard on issues that matter to them.

Get Loud! – It’s time for youth across NSW to stand up and get at local community events and across NSW during Youth Week.

I am running Youth Week activities in my local area but is not with local council. I would like to be advertised on the Youth Week website. How do I do this?

The NSW Youth Week webpage services NSW Government agencies which have a nsw.gov.au email address. If this does not apply to you, you are unable to post your event on this webpage directly.

We encourage you to get in touch with your local Council to explore collaboration opportunities or you can get in touch with ACYP at participation@acyp.nsw.gov.au and provide details of your event so they can consider you in their marketing communications.

How can councils work with non-government to deliver Youth Week activities?

Councils can:

  • Actively reach out to the community to see what non-government organisations are doing in your local area,
  • Provide a way for these organisations to register interest to partner with you
  • Run a competition for young people in your local community to submit ideas for future Youth Week events and activities.
