The Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) is working collaboratively across all levels of government on multiple programs and initiatives aimed at supporting regional communities, industry and businesses.

These programs reflect the NSW Government’s continued commitment to providing critical investment to support regional NSW to recover and rebuild following the devastating impacts of drought, bushfires, floods and COVID-19. 

These targeted initiatives and investments are being made in the regions to generate jobs and build resilient communities that will recover and prosper in the future.

More than 120 approved projects and counting 

The interactive map below details the many diverse community infrastructure and industry projects being funded by the NSW Government Regional Recovery programs.

The Local Hall Rebuilding project, delivered by Resilience NSW, supports the rebuilding of multiple halls across NSW.

The map includes programs such as:

Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund

Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments, this package will support social and economic recovery in regional communities most affected by the recent bushfires.

Bushfire Industry Recovery Package

This NSW Government funding package will help forestry, horticulture and agriculture industries impacted by the recent bushfires to rebuild, recover, regrow and remain the heartbeat of regional economies.

Bushfire Community Resilience and Economic Recovery Fund (Phase One)

The NSW Government is offering councils payments of a minimum $100,000, and up to $250,000, for the most fire impacted areas in the state.
