Project overview
Dubbo NSW 2830
NSW Land and Housing Corporation is working in partnership with TAFE NSW. Our goal is to deliver a two-storey apartment building. This building will contain:
- 8 one-bedroom social housing units
- 8 two-bedroom social housing units.
Two of these units will be adaptable for tenants with access needs.
These new units will give up to 28 residents a place to call home.
The building will be located close to shops, with direct access to Dubbo town centre and a bus stop. Dubbo TAFE and Dubbo Base hospital will be nearby.
The development will also include:
- a rainwater tank for landscape irrigation
- rooftop solar power.
This project will be constructed by TAFE as part of the $80 million Apprenticeship Program announced in FY2021. It’s an opportunity for students to get vital on-the-job training and skills working in the building and construction industry.
We expect construction of the Myall Street development to be complete by mid FY 2026.
