Works in progress
Stage 2A enabling works cover 38 hectares of land within Bradfield City Centre to deliver new master planned roads, streetscapes, civil works and public utilities.
Construction works started in July 2024 and are expected to finish in Quarter 4 2025.
Standard construction hours, including material deliveries, are:
- Monday to Friday: 7am to 6pm.
- Saturday: 8am to 1pm.
- Sunday and public holidays: No noisy work unless approved.
Some quiet activities may happen outside these hours. We will communicate any planned works outside of these hours in advance.
We aim to minimise the impact of construction on the community. These impacts include:
- noise
- dust
- vibrations.

Upcoming works
In late 2025, Bradfield Development Authority and our contractors will be delivering:
Stage 2C and 2D of Bradfield City’s enabling works. This will involve the construction of two roads connecting Badgerys Creek Rd with the Bradfield site, associated earthworks and landscaping, drainage and stormwater infrastructure, and road signage.
Regional Stormwater Infrastructure works. This will commence in late 2025.

Managing construction, health and safety
The health and safety of the community is our priority. All construction activities are in accordance with the approved construction management plans.
Bradfield Development Authority aims to minimise the impact of works to the local community. This includes keeping noise, dust and vibration to a minimum.
Construction activities also follow strict protocols to ensure that local wildlife is protected.
Site access
Access to the construction site at Bradfield is restricted to people with permission for construction activities or site visits.
The public can access Bradfield's City's First Building, and view the growing city, on a dedicated tour with a school or business group. Arrange a tour by contacting venuesevents@bda.nsw.gov.au.
