About the Second Building
The Second Building expands Bradfield City’s advanced manufacturing capability into advanced semiconductor packaging and testing, with cleanrooms and specialist laboratories, enabling locally integrated electronics supply chains and sovereign capability uplift.
Key building design features
- Meeting spaces and workspaces to encourage collaboration amongst the AMRF, tenants, industry and visitors.
- Biosolar green roof for energy generation, amongst sustainability ambitions targeting 5-Star Green Star.
- Open space connecting the Second Building to the First Building, providing inviting green space for workers and visitors to the precinct.
Ground broken on Second Building and Hansen Yuncken appointed Head Contractor
Construction has officially begun on the Second Building at Bradfield City, with ground broken on site by the Deputy Premier and Minister for Western Sydney the Hon. Prue Car and Minister for Planning and Public Space the Hon. Paul Scully. The start of construction is a major milestone in Bradfield City’s development and the growth of the AMRF ecosystem at the city’s foundations. We will share construction updates and milestones as the Second Building is delivered over the course of 2026-2027.
