About Children’s Week 2026

Children’s Week is a national event held every year around the fourth week in October.

It promotes awareness of children’s rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The week celebrates children in every community.

Children’s Week 2026 is held from 24 October to 1 November.

The 2026 Children's Week theme is based on UNCRC Article 30: Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.
