The NSW Government is exploring options for the future delivery of Tech Week, a proposed initiative to showcase and strengthen the NSW startup and innovation ecosystem.

Tech Week is identified as an action under the NSW Innovation Blueprint 2035. As part of early planning, The NSW Government is seeking feedback from organisations across the innovation ecosystem to better understand potential delivery approaches, partnership opportunities, funding models and opportunities to maximise participation and impact. 
 

Purpose of this market sounding

This market sounding is intended to:

• Understand the capability and capacity of organisations operating within the innovation ecosystem.
• Gather feedback on potential delivery models and approaches for Tech Week.
• Identify opportunities to engage startup founders, investors, industry, researchers, government and the broader community.
• Understand the requirements for achieving impact.
• Explore potential funding, partnership and sustainability models.

This market sounding is an information-gathering exercise only.

Participation does not constitute an application for funding and does not create any entitlement or preference in relation to any future NSW Government funding opportunity, sponsorship program, procurement process or grant program.

The NSW Government will use the information gathered through this process to inform consideration of future options for Tech Week. Any future funding or sponsorship opportunity would be subject to separate government approval processes and would be conducted independently of this market sounding.
