Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (LHD) operates a variety of health care services across multiple locations, including our 5 hospitals, 10 community health centres, over 80 outpatient clinics, and various other facilities in the community.

Hawkesbury District Hospital is a teaching hospital providing acute, community and allied health services with a 24-hour emergency department, surgical, diagnostic and specialised medical services.

 


Community health centres

We provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers through our 10 community health centres. Services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection to assessment, treatment and continuing care.

Outpatient clinics

We provide a wide range of services to people who visit one of our hospitals for diagnosis or treatment without needing to be admitted to the hospital for overnight care.

Portland Tabulam Multi-Purpose Service

Portland Tabulam Multi-Purpose Service provides residential aged care, sub acute care beds, general medicine, community health services and a range of visiting allied health services outreached from Lithgow Health Service.
