Student Sessions at Sydney Writers Festival
NESA delivers a program of compelling talks for senior students each year in partnership with the Sydney Writers Festival. Find out how students can engage and learn from acclaimed writers, social commentators, and thinkers across a range of subjects.
About the Student Sessions
The Sydney Writers' Festival is a celebration of literature, stories and ideas.
Each year NESA partners with the Festival to deliver the Student Sessions. This year's Student Sessions take place on Wednesday 21 May, at Carriageworks, Eveleigh.
The sessions are for school students in Years 9 to 12 and provide rare access to some of the best-known speakers in the 2023 Festival program. The sessions feature acclaimed writers, respected social commentators and Australia’s keenest thought leaders.
The Student Sessions are linked to the NSW school curriculum. Sessions are designed to engage students with ideas from outside the traditional classroom setting.
