Learners requesting a reprint of a Craft or Completion certificate may be provided with an Extract of Record in lieu of the certificate.
Advice from employers that a learner has successfully completed a term of training (usually used to create a Craft or Completion certificate) will continue to be captured, recorded against each learner and used to facilitate the issue of a Certificate of Proficiency when RTO qualification completion data is provided.
Implementation – Trade Recognition
With the abolition of Craft Certificates, applications lodged need to address the following trade recognition eligibility criteria:

Evidence of past employment and experience in the trade concerned; and

The completion of training and/or assessment in the relevant Australian qualification, issued by a registered training organisation.
