The Council Support Fund (the Program) is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and NSW Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements 2018 (DRFA).

Program objective
The Council Support Fund will provide immediate funding to the eligible council (Waverley Council) to undertake essential clean up, make safe and restoration activities of community assets and places impacted by this eligible event, and that are not eligible for funding through Category A or B of the DRFA.
The fund is designed to give Waverley Council the ability to immediately clean up and make safe important community assets and impacted places, while collating information and data that will inform longer term recovery needs to inform any subsequent Category C/D requests.
This program is administered by NSW Reconstruction Authority.
