Program objective
Drought Support Program was rolled out in the context of a broad-reaching and intensifying drought in 2018/2019. The Regional Stimulus Program concluded in 21/22 and provided funding to deliver fast-tracked projects across regional NSW to support the economic recovery of the regions. Emergency Relief for Regional Town Water Supplies is available to Local Water Utilities towards the cost of water carting or water supply works during periods of emergency.
This program is administered by The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
