The NSW Government 2023 Election Commitments Fund (‘the Fund’) has been created to administer the projects that have been identified as election commitments by the NSW Government and that fall within the Sport portfolio.

Program objective
Organisations who will deliver the election commitments will be invited directly to apply for funding for the identified project/s and will be managed as ad-hoc or one-off grants under the NSW Grants Administration Guide. The 2023 Election Commitments Fund has two funding streams, Participation and Infrastructure.
The purpose and intent of projects vary and are detailed in the invitation to apply which will be sent directly to the identified organisations.
The key objectives of the Fund align to the Office of Sport Strategic Plan and include:
- Participation: Increase the percentage of adults and children participating regularly in sport and active recreation.
- Sector Sustainability: Increase the organisational health of the sport sector.
- Spaces & Places: Increase the number and proportion of fit-for purpose sport and active recreation facilities across NSW.
- Partnerships and Investment: Increase recognition of sport and active recreation as an important contributor to government priorities
This program is administered by Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport.

The project benefits multiple community groups through access to Football related activities and general learning opportunities. The project has a direct benefit to the Central Coast Mariners A League Women, as the facility includes female friendly change-rooms, a gymnasium, learning spaces, rehabilitation spaces, community activity spaces, offices, showers & toilets
