What was approved
Approved for Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Network
This project will strengthen our region's capacity to engage respectfully with Aboriginal communities through a staged, regionally coordinated Aboriginal Partnerships program. Tier 1 activities establish a strong foundation through a First Nations–led Regional Aboriginal Engagement Strategy, cultural capability training and on-Country learning delivered with Aboriginal knowledge holders in partnership with LLS. The project establishes clear engagement principles and protocols to guide partnerships across CTRLN. Building on this, Local Networks are positioned to deliver Tier 2 co-designed partnership activities with relevant LALCs and Aboriginal organisations, supporting cultural learning, land management outcomes, community connection and long-term partnerships across the Central Tablelands.
