This program helps technology businesses in the scaleup phase of their growth establish themselves in the Tech Central innovation and technology precinct by providing a rebate on eligible rental costs and fitout costs.

Program objective
Investment NSW is providing rebates in order to attract technology scaleups to this world-class innovation and technology precinct.
This program is administered by Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- be registered for GST
- have an account with an Australian financial institution
- be a company incorporated under the Commonwealth Corporations Act 2001 (including a company limited by guarantee)
- be a scaleup technology business establishing in or expanding within the target area. This is defined as a business that:
- develops and commercialises new technology as part of their core service or product offering
- employs at least 10 full time equivalent roles, in NSW
- is generating revenue from core services or products and has achieved an average growth of 20% or more in either employment or revenue year on year, for at least 3 years immediately prior to the date of your complete application or at the calendar month end prior to the date of your complete application.
- for new leases, be ready to enter into an eligible lease, sub-lease or occupancy agreement
- for existing leases at the same location, have an eligible lease, sub-lease or occupancy agreement.

Prepare your application with this checklist
To apply you must:
- complete the online application form on SmartyGrants
- provide all the information requested
- meet all the eligible criteria
- include all necessary attachments
- submit your application by 5pm AEST on 16 June 2023.
You are responsible for ensuring that your application is complete and accurate.
Attachments to the application
You must submit the following documents with your application:
- financial statements including profit and loss statement for the last 3 years
- payroll records (such as payroll tax statement, employee records) for the last 3 years
- a pitch deck or information memorandum (maximum 6 A4 pages)
- a copy of your lease agreement
- 2 separate quotes from reputable fitout companies (if available)
- a copy of your fitout works contract (if available).
You must attach supporting documentation to the application form in line with the instructions provided within the form. You should only attach requested documents.
We will not consider information in attachments that we do not request.

Program evaluation
Successful applicants are required to submit the milestone reports quarterly as per their funding agreements and will also be required to participate in evaluation activities conducted by Investment NSW.
