About the Project:
The New Hyland Road Sporting Complex project will deliver a new district level open space and recreational precinct in the Prospect Canal Corridor. The facility will provide new sporting facilities to meet the needs of the current and future population. This includes facilities for a range of sporting activities, including netball, AFL, football, cricket, baseball and indoor sports.
Project Scope:
The project will include:
- 2x Rectangular sporting fields with one oval overlay (with drainage and irrigation, field, goals, scoreboard, floodlighting, perimeter fencing, accessible path)
- 2x Cricket practice nets
- 4x Multi-use small sided synthetic fields.
- 2x hardcourts.
- Spectator seating for indoor and outdoor facilities
- Clubhouse amenities building (with timekeeping room, offices, kitchen/kiosk, indoor and outdoor storage, changeroom and amenities, massage/first aid room, external covered area with seating) consolidated with the indoor sporting hall.
- Indoor sporting hall (with multi-use sports court, spectator area, support facilities i.e. storage and plant room, foyer/reception, recharge spaces i.e. offices/meeting rooms, kitchenette and amenities).

- Pathway network including pathway lighting
- Car Parking
- Social spaces
- Bin enclosure
