About the Project

The Y Yarramundi redevelopment will continue the site’s 85-year legacy and transform the site into a more universally designed and inclusive complex that caters to people of all ages and abilities.

Project Scope

The project features: 

  • Redevelopment of Camp Yarramundi including 84 new cabins in 6 clusters
  • Upgrade to caretakrs lodge (4 beds)
  • Upgrade and expansion of existing dining facility including upgrade to existing kitchen, brand new commercial kitchen equipment, addition of second servery, external awning
  • Flexible office spaces
  • Upgrade recreation hall to a mixed-use space including climbing wall, acoustic wall treatment and accessible to dining hall
  • Restoration of river access
  • Installation of telecommunications boosters
  • Installation of a cultural garden to provide food and education  
  • Construction of outdoor kitchens and an amphitheatre to support weekend music festivals and other events.
