About the Project

The Y Yarramundi redevelopment will continue the site’s 85-year legacy and transform the site into a more universally designed and inclusive complex that caters to people of all ages and abilities.

Project Scope

The project features:

Redevelopment of Camp Yarramundi including 84 new cabins in 6 clusters
Upgrade to caretakrs lodge (4 beds)
Upgrade and expansion of existing dining facility including upgrade to existing kitchen, brand new commercial kitchen equipment, addition of second servery, external awning
Flexible office spaces
Upgrade recreation hall to a mixed-use space including climbing wall, acoustic wall treatment and accessible to dining hall
Restoration of river access
Installation of telecommunications boosters
Installation of a cultural garden to provide food and education
Construction of outdoor kitchens and an amphitheatre to support weekend music festivals and other events.
