What’s this about?

IPART has released an issues paper seeking community feedback on Central Coast Council's pricing proposal for water and wastewater services. They have proposed prices that would increase the annual bill for a typical household by 8% in the first year plus inflation.

We are seeking feedback from residents, businesses and stakeholders about the proposed prices, including views on affordability, value for money, quality of services and how well customers have been consulted by Central Coast council on its pricing proposal.

All comments and feedback made through submissions, survey responses, and at the public hearing will be considered before we release a draft report seeking further community feedback in early March 2026.
