Council Reference Group for the rate peg

What’s this about?

The Council Reference Group (CRG) is a consultative forum that plays an important role in informing the IPART Tribunal about issues related to the rate peg and its methodology. 

The current CRG Terms of Reference was drafted in 2024 on the basis that the CRG would operate for at least 2 years and then be reviewed. We consider that the input from the CRG has been valuable and propose to continue the CRG on an ongoing basis. 

To reflect this, we have revised the draft Terms of Reference and invite stakeholder feedback including on any additional matters that should be addressed.
