What’s this about?

The Draft Koala Conservation Strategy:

• identifies key koala populations
• outlines a toolbox of conservation actions that can be applied to address key threats to koalas.

The strategy will be delivered through the Saving our Species framework, integrating koala conservation with other threatened species conservation efforts across NSW.

Your feedback will help shape the final strategy to ensure it is practical, effective and informed by local knowledge.

A separate Implementation Plan will translate the strategy’s priorities into targeted, on-ground actions, providing a roadmap for coordinated delivery by government agencies, conservation partners and local communities.

We are interested in what level of detail you think should be in the Implementation Plan.
