Planning Officer, Planning and Assessment Unit, National Parks and Wildlife Service
What’s this about?
By making a submission on the Queanbeyan Nature Reserve Draft plan, members of the community can have a say about the future management of this park.
The draft plan has been developed to replace the 1999 plan of management and to guide the management of 68 hectares of critically endangered natural temperate grassland and box-gum grassy woodland added to the reserve in 2004.
Submissions received on the draft plan will inform the preparation of a final plan for adoption under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974. Once adopted, the plan of management will direct how this park will be managed.
