Wattamolla telecommunications facility
National Parks and Wildlife Service is seeking feedback on a review of environmental factors to install telecommunications facility at Wattamolla.
What’s this about?
The proposed new telecommunications facility at Wattamolla in Royal National Park will ensure that upgraded mobile voice and internet network access is provided to benefit employees and visitors of Royal National Park.
It is is partly funded by the Federal Governments national Mobile Black Spot Program.
The proposal involves the installation of:
- 1 x 20m monopole
- 1 x omni antenna on top of the monopole (overall height 21.8m)
- 12m x 10m compound area
- 2 x OneWeb satellite antennas at the base of the monopole
- 15 solar panels to power the site and ancillary equipment.
