About the facility
In 2002 the heritage-listed old hospital building, originally built in 1879, was redeveloped to house our primary health care team.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service runs several General Practice clinics each week and regular dental clinics, with supporting allied health, mental health and specialist nursing staff. Visiting specialists as required.
I’m not sure if I should go to an emergency department?
If you are not sure, call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222. The nurse can assess your condition and call an ambulance if you need emergency care or direct you to the nearest emergency department.
