As part of the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Value NSW supports the Valuer General and delivers trusted valuation services that help support council rates, land tax assessments, compulsory acquisition compensation and government decision-making across NSW.
As a Graduate Valuer, you'll work alongside experienced professionals undertaking land valuations, assessing objections, supporting compulsory acquisitions and providing valuation advice across government.

As the agency that supports the Valuer General, we help deliver the state's land valuation system. Every year, Value NSW supports more than 2.7 million land valuations with a combined value of approximately $3 trillion. These valuations support council rates and land tax assessments across NSW.
We also support the valuation and compensation process for compulsory land acquisitions, provide valuation services for government property transactions, and deliver specialist valuation advice to government agencies across the state.
The Graduate Valuer Program provides a pathway into a profession with strong long-term career opportunities.
As your career progresses, you may be eligible to pursue Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) accreditation through the Australian Property Institute. Throughout the program, you'll receive support, mentoring and practical experience to help build the knowledge and capability required for professional accreditation.
Many graduates have successfully progressed into ongoing valuation roles after completing the program.
Roles are available across NSW, with Parramatta, Newcastle, Wollongong and Queanbeyan preferred locations. Opportunities may also be available in Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Orange, Taree and Murwillumbah.
