Get involved with your community housing provider
Community housing aims to provide services that reflect the needs of tenants and communities. Check with your housing provider to see how you can get involved.
A key goal of community housing is to provide services that reflect:
- the needs of their tenants
- the needs of their tenants’ communities.
One of the ways community housing providers do this is involving tenants in their management.
How to get involved
Different community housing providers have different approaches to tenants participating. Some community housing providers invite tenants to sit on their management boards. Others run local management committees.
If you want more information about how to get involved, contact your community housing provider. They can tell you what opportunities there may be in your area.
