Ticketmaster data breach
Ticketmaster, an American ticket sales company, announced they have been involved in a data breach, potentially affecting millions of customers globally.
The NSW Government acknowledges Ticketmaster's data breach announcement claiming the exposure of over 500 million Ticketmaster customers personal information.
Ticketmaster’s parent company, Live Nation Entertainment, said it had identified unauthorised activity within a third-party cloud database environment.
It is believed that customers' names, dates of birth, and email addresses may have been affected, but not credit card or payment information.
The Australian Department of Home Affairs are currently working with Ticketmaster to understand the incident and how it may impact affected Australians.
For specific inquiries, please contact Ticketmaster directly.
