Community Building Partnership

The NSW Community Building Partnership program awards grants for community infrastructure projects.

The Community Building Partnership program supports community infrastructure projects that:

  • promote community participation, inclusion and cohesion
  • deliver positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes.

2018 round opening soon


Incorporated not-for-profits and local councils will be eligible to apply.

Project types

Grants need to be for:

  • building/repairing/refurbishing community infrastructure; or
  • capital equipment with a minimum individual asset value of $2,500.

Reporting and closures

Each CBP round may have a different process for completion and acquittals. Please refer to the grant round sections below for instructions regarding your successful project.

To find out what grant round your successful project falls under – please refer to your Application/CBP project number (eg: CBP16 – xxxx; CBP15 – xxxx).
