Representative Supervision Procedure

This procedure is in two parts. It sets out the steps and processes involved in arranging representative supervision of community-based supervised orders for young people permanently or temporarily moving between state and territory jurisdictions.

Use this procedure when requesting or accepting representative supervision of a young person with a community-based supervised order who is changing address for a period of more than 4 weeks.

This procedure is not to be used when a young person is completing a Children's Community Service Order (CCSO), a Youth Justice Conference (YJC) or has supervised bail.
