MVP Ventures Program now open for new applications
The Minns Labor Government is inviting the state’s most innovative startups and entrepreneurs to apply for round three of the 2025-26 Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Ventures Program, with applications now open.
The MVP Ventures Program provides grant funding to help founders turn their big ideas into commercial reality. Grant funding for round three of the MVP Ventures Program is again available through two streams:
- Stream one offers eligible businesses a maximum grant of $50,000 with a minimum co-contribution of 50 per cent.
- Stream two is for eligible women-owned businesses, regional businesses, and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander businesses, providing up to $75,000 with a minimum co-contribution of 25 per cent.
Applications will be assessed through a competitive process, with funding awarded to projects that best demonstrate strong innovation potential, commercial viability, and alignment with the NSW Industry Policy. The program’s guidelines ensure support is distributed fairly and equitably, especially for underrepresented groups in the sector.
The MVP Ventures Program is now in its third round for 2025-26, building on the success of earlier rounds and reaffirming the NSW Government’s commitment to fostering the next generation of local innovators.
Round one of the program saw 22 innovative startups receive support, helping them take important steps toward commercialisation and contributing to a more dynamic and inclusive innovation landscape across NSW.
Round three is open from Monday, 9 March and will close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, 5 April 2026.
A general information webinar will be available for all applicants, including a ‘what’s new’ session for round three. Stream two priority groups will have access to a dedicated educational webinar covering program objectives, eligibility, and assessment, helping overcome participation barriers and encouraging applications. Eligible founders are encouraged to apply and seize this opportunity to help shape the state’s future economy.
