Understanding athlete biological maturation and its implications for practice
Supporting a key action in the Future Champions strategy, the NSW Office of Sport has partnered with Dr Shaun Abbott and Professor Stephen Cobley from The University of Sydney to develop a suite of practical resources on athlete biological maturation.
These resources are designed to help the people who support participants and emerging athletes, including coaches, sporting organisations and schools, build their understanding of athlete maturation and apply this knowledge in practice.
