With stunning views of distant mountains and passing whales and dolphins, these white sandy beaches have a northerly aspect.
Main Beach is dominated by the Surf Club and is patrolled by Surf Lifesavers in summer. It is only a short stroll to Byron Bay town centre.
Swim between the flags and always wear a hat and sunscreen.
