Sydney Harbour and Circular Quay are the places to be on 26 January with plenty of free events and fun activities for all ages on the sea, shore and sky. Cheer on the world's best athletes in the annual Oz Day 10K wheelchair race as they spin through The Rocks. The Overseas Passenger Terminal offers plenty for the young at heart with a Mega Kidz Zone, wheelchair basketball, street food, and more. Midday is marked by a stirring 21-gun salute, followed by a high-octane display of a fast jet maneuvering above Sydney Harbour by the Royal Australian Air Force. A proud Australia Day tradition, the Ferrython is a race like no other with four of Sydney's beloved Emerald Class ferries racing to the ultimate finish line …. the Sydney Harbour Bridge But that's not it … there is more with Maritime Mayhem, the 190th Australia Day Regatta, the Tall Ships Race, the Harbour Parade, and the Working Harbour Display. Grab a position anywhere around Circular Quay, Hickson Road Reserve, Dawes Point Reserve, or around the Sydney Opera House to view all the action of Harbourfest.
