ReStored at The Con

Come along to the Northern Rivers Conservatorium and wander through the beautifully restored building, reconnect with this much-loved place, and experience the Con as a welcoming home for music, creativity, and connection. Throughout the day there will be live performances by Conservatorium teachers and students, filling the building with music and offering a glimpse into the rich learning and creative life that happens here each week. Visitors will also have the chance to try out a range of instruments, meet our teaching staff, and learn more about music programs for all ages and stages. Come and explore the renewed spaces, hear about the journey of restoration, and see how the Con has been thoughtfully re-imagined as a place designed to be heard, supporting deep listening, learning, and shared cultural life. This is a relaxed, family-friendly event and everyone is welcome. Whether you have a long history with the Con or are stepping inside for the first time, we invite you to come, look around, listen, play, and celebrate what's been restored – not just a building, but a vital community gathering place and icon.
