Connecting communities and creating future opportunities

While challenges persist globally, here in NSW, our arts and cultural scene is a source of hope and connection.

Over the past 2 years, we have established a new department with the creative industries at its heart and passed seven pieces of legislation. We’ve introduced Vibrancy Reforms and connected sector leaders with government to develop 6 strategic plans backed with government investment that are now in delivery. We’ve brought Treasury and sector experts together for the Art of Tax Reform Summit. And we’ve joined forces with departments right across NSW Government to deliver for NSW creative communities.

This document highlights the impact and key achievements since the launch of Creative Communities in December 2023 – laying the groundwork for even greater creativity and connection ahead.
