Far West LHD calling for annual Staff Recognition and Health Innovation Awards nominations
Patients, families, and carers are invited to nominate exceptional local Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) staff members, as part of the District’s 15th annual Staff Recognition and Health Innovation Awards.
Anyone in the community who has experienced an outstanding level of care or service is encouraged to recognise that staff member or team by putting them in the running for the 2025 Awards.
Far West LHD’s Director Allied Health and Integrated Community Services, Mel Welsh said the annual Awards are a fantastic forum to recognise and celebrate outstanding healthcare staff in the Far West. .
“We are committed to recognising our employees for their achievements in providing high quality care to patients in our health services,” Ms Welsh said.
“The Awards give our consumers the chance to acknowledge Far West health staff and teams who have made a real impact on their lives, or those of their loved ones.”

Nominations are open until 24 April 2025. The Staff Recognition and Health Innovation Awards will be celebrated later this year.
