Tech Central

Tech Central is at the heart of NSW’s innovation economy and Australia’s largest tech and innovation district.  

This government-supported precinct combines world-class infrastructure and amenity to power a thriving 24-hour economy where people can live, work and play. Companies located in Tech Central are part of a living innovation ecosystem where startups, global tech firms, and research organisations collaborate and grow together.

Anchored by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the University of Sydney, Tech Central offers access to more than 160,000 students and a pipeline of industry-ready talent. Its strategic location in the heart of Sydney offers fast, seamless connections across Sydney, Greater NSW, and international markets via the Sydney Metro, buses, light rail, and nearby train stations. 

Home to more than 150 research institutes and centres of excellence, Tech Central hosts major Australian tech companies and unicorns, including Atlassian, Block, Canva, SafetyCulture, and Rokt. Supporting over 3,300 nighttime economy businesses, it drives a vibrant, round-the-clock innovation district central to Sydney’s 24-hour economy.

Bradfield City Centre

Bradfield City Centre is a landmark development located in the heart of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, located next to the new Western Sydney International Airport. Spanning 114 hectares, it is one of Australia’s largest urban renewal projects and the first major city to be built in over a century. 

Designed as a world-class city from the ground up, Bradfield will deliver 10,000 new homes and create 20,000 jobs, unlocking long-term economic opportunities for the growing Western Sydney region.
