Complete the survey for the organisation that invited you—typically your secondment placement.
Is the survey compulsory?
No, it’s optional—but leaders are keen to hear from everyone.
When can I fill in the survey?

How do I access the survey?

I’m going to be on leave during the survey period, can I still do the survey?

Do I need to enter a password to access the survey?
No password is required.
Can I save my answers and return to the survey later to finish it?

How long will the survey take?
Around 15 minutes.
I work in a frontline service role and can’t take time out of my shift. How do I complete the survey?
Speak with your manager to find a suitable time. You can also email the link to yourself and complete it at home.
Do I need to do anything before I start the survey?
Check your payslip for your annual salary.
What if none of the answers match what I want to say?
Choose the closest option or select ‘neither agree nor disagree’ or ‘don’t know’.
Are there right or wrong answers to the survey questions?
No—just answer honestly and thoughtfully.
Why does the first question ask where I work?
To assign your responses to the correct work area. Small teams may be grouped with larger ones.
What will I be asked about in the survey?
Topics include your role, team, manager, senior executives, organisation, and workplace experiences. Background questions help identify how different groups experience the workplace.
Is the survey anonymous and confidential?
Yes. It doesn’t collect personal identifiers, and everyone receives the same link.
How will the results be reported and used?
Responses are summarised in reports to support workplace improvements. Only groups with 10+ responses are reported, and open-text comments require 30+ responses.
Who will see the results?
Your organisation will receive summary reports. Sector-wide reports will be available on the Premier’s Department website. Reports below agency level won’t be public.
Who runs the survey?
The Premier’s Department and Ipsos, an independent research company.
Who do I contact for technical problems?
Reach out to Ipsos or your manager/people and culture team.
What if I have further questions about the survey?
