Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) thanks everyone who attended our 2024 Annual Public Meeting, held online on Tuesday 29 October.
We appreciated the opportunity to connect with community members, share updates on our achievements and future plans over the past financial year, and respond to your questions and feedback.
Attendees heard from Board Chair Elizabeth Hoskins and Chief Executive Margaret Bennett, who spoke about the District's commitment to delivering safe, high-quality and inclusive care across Southern NSW.
We were also proud to feature a presentation from Rebekah (Bek) Bowman, District Midwifery Manager. who shared insights into expanding midwifery group practice across Southern. Bek was recently named the winner of the prestigious Dr Allan Hawke AC Outstanding Leadership Award for 2024, recognising her exceptional contribution to health care and leadership across the District.
