Back On Your Bike: A 2-hour Beginners Course
Our Back On Your Bike course is designed for people who already know how to ride but want to ensure they’ve established good habits, or for those who haven’t ridden in a while and want to smooth out the wobbles.
In this 2-hour session, held in a traffic-free environment, we’ll cover everything from setting your pedals to start smoothly, to sudden stopping, using gears effectively, and more. You’ll also learn:
- practical tips on what to wear
- how to carry your things
- how to handle riding in wet weather—so you can ride confidently in any situation.
Intermediate City Rider: A 2-hour Essential Skills Course
Build the skills for safe and confident urban riding. Our course covers everything you need to confidently ride on city streets. Learn how to:
- see and be seen
- ride predictably
- communicate clearly
- navigate bike-friendly streets graciously.
This session will cover important road rules as well as riders' rights and responsibilities. With a focus on theory, you’ll also explore advanced road positioning and route planning. Plus, there will be an opportunity to experience road positioning firsthand on a short on-street ride.
