About course prescriptions
There are prescribed texts required for study in the French Extension Stage 6 course. The HSC course prescriptions should be read in conjunction with the:
- French Extension Stage 6 Syllabus and other support documents
- Record of changes for French Extension Stage 6 Syllabus
The organisational focus of the French Extension course is the theme:
- the individual and contemporary society.
A number of issues that exemplify aspects of the theme are prescribed for study. Students engage with the issues through the study of a prescribed text and related texts.
NESA reserves the right to make changes to the prescribed texts listed on this page.
