Project description

Paper Things is a mixed-media film that represents an ordinary girl traversing different paper-based worlds, including a pop-up book and comic book – both hand-crafted – and stop-motion animation. Selina uses paper as a symbol of fragility, struggle and resilience to convey how the road to achievement is not a perfect, start-to-finish process. The film combines sound effects made during production, and video effects made post-production.
