Project description

As a volunteer trackworker at the Cooma-Monaro Railway, a heritage railway and museum, Aiden has seen the labour involved in track maintenance, often performed by elderly or time poor volunteers. His Rail Rover is an affordable, lightweight autonomous vehicle that inspects tracks, detects defects, and digitally records data that can be viewed, printed, or transmitted digitally.
