Who this provision is for
This provision is usually for students who can’t access a standard exam paper, or some of the questions in it. For example, a student with:
- severe cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy might not be able to answer a question that requires them to draw or measure something by hand
- a vision impairment might not be able to answer a question that requires them to analyse an image.

Schools can find forms and templates for most types of supporting information through the Schools Online platform. They will print out the relevant forms and give them to students, parents or caregivers as needed.
