Ryan - Senior Project Officer - Regional Industry Education Partnerships
The Regional Industry Education Partnerships or RIEP Program is a New South Wales Government service that builds connections between employers and schools to support student career development. Figuring out what to do after school can be difficult for students who may not be aware of the wide range of jobs available to them or what they need to do to secure them. The RIEP program supports students by connecting them with the world of work while they're still at school. Evidence shows that these connections result in lower unemployment levels, higher wages and greater job satisfaction later in life. For employers, showcasing their industry to school students allows them to play an active role in developing their future workforce.

Louis - Citizen Philanthropy Manager, Salesforce Asia-Pacific Region
The RIEP team has really allowed us to scale our work and has allowed us to connect with students who would not normally be able to connect with organisations like Salesforce.
Michael - CEO TAA NSW & Interim CEO Accommodation Association
We've found working with the RIEP program on this initiative extremely beneficial. The RIEP officers have been able to bring us together, hotels and schools, and bring the students in and for us to be able to promote to them.
Leanne - Head Teacher Support, Melville High School
We're now connecting with the RIEP program. It's forging those connections between the school and the workforce and giving our students the opportunity to do those things that we haven't been able to previously provide for them.
Chelsea - Year 10 Student Mater Dei Catholic College
It was pretty special to take part in the program. It opened my eyes to all the different trades there were. For the future, I'd love to get an apprenticeship and from there starting my own business.
