Getting ready for primary school

Before they start school, your child should get their 4-year health and development check. This will help find what support they might need early. You can get this check at your doctor,  local child and family health service or eligible early childhood education and care service

Starting primary school is a huge step for you and your child. Remember each child is unique and learns in different ways.

These resources can help you work out when your child is ready and how to have a smooth transition when the time is right.
