Use this form to apply for a single status certificate to prove you have not been married in NSW during a specific period. You may need this to get married overseas.

A single status certificate can be used by NSW residents and former NSW residents planning to get married overseas.

It may also help for legal matters around inheritance, property ownership, or in the adoption process.
